EMW is fortunate to count on a wealth of experience in the industry that can help our colleagues across the world in continuing to improve access and efficiency for radioisotopes. Most cyclotron facilities or smaller bulk production sites never get the chance to work on the scale and volume we have been able to in our career, but we are always happy to share that knowledge to continue progressing the nuclear medicine industry forward. All services are offered in English & Spanish.

  • EMW proudly leads the industry in experience on telemanipulators, their functions, and the ways they break down and wear over time. We provide the best, production experience based PM programme available, independent of the original manufacturer.

  • Our experience in not only maintaining, but setting up radioisotope production lines can be invaluable in saving your company time, heartache, and money on misinformed purchasing decisions or missing context.

  • For those that wish to learn the function of their machines through their own effort, but lack the expertise to fully understand their issues, EMW offers live remote video guidance through telemanipulator repairs, hot cell troubleshooting, and more.

  • We offer various training programmes here in Costa Rica, a short drive from La Fortuna and Arenal National Park, that help familiarise operators, both novice and experienced, with manipulator use, repair, preventative maintenance, and more.

    Our programmes are all-inclusive (sans airfare), meaning no headaches with lodging bookings, meal outings, or other common travel issues.

Introduction to TM Telemanipulators

$4,000 for the first person, $1,000 per subsequent person, Maximum. 3

This comprehensive 7-day training programme provides a comprehensive experience in standard maintenance and repair practices and techniques, enabling trainees to acquire both technical familiarity and an intuitive understanding of how telemanipulators function, their potential failures, and how to perform repairs and troubleshooting. This training package also includes the following:

  • Transport to/from Juan Santamaria International Airport (or Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport)

  • All Accommodations

  • All Meals

Introduction to G-Series Telemanipulators

EMW is currently developing our capability and capacity for offering full CRL training on popular models such as the GLD, GLD-R, and GHD for our colleagues in the industry. We expect training to be available from Q2 2026.
