Elliott Machine Works S.R.L. is a Costa Rica-based, Canadian-operated company specialising in telemanipulators, hot cells, and radioisotope production equipment. We bring experience not only from our own projects and clients, but also from our backgrounds at industry leaders and pioneers in the U.S. and Canada.
EMW also offers our expertise in the form of troubleshooting and general consulting on radiopharmaceutical projects, as well as operating our own manipulator training programme here in Costa Rica, independent of any telemanipulator manufacturer, and offering the highest available grade of hands-on education for facility staff, operators, and engineering staff.

Designed to seal the arm off from the inside of the cell, preventing the cross-flow of air and contamination, our moulded boots offer significantly improved flexibility, stretch, and fit compared to the original manufacturer’s design. Improvements to the internal design have significantly improved the installation experience compared to the original.
Our boot is a one-size-fits-all type, with sufficient adjustment throughout to ensure a proper fit for both the longest and shortest examples of this manipulator line.

The Coatyl 300 (C-300) was specifically designed and developed by EMW S.R.L. for use by client personnel for the removal, installation, and maintenance of manipulator arms. The robust, all-aluminium fixture features a sliding mechanism for pulling and installing manipulators directly into their through-tubes, as well as a tilting mechanism for arms that cannot achieve a flat plane during installation. The fixture features several intuitive locks, pins, and stops for safe operation, as well as a closing saddle that securely holds the manipulator tube in place.
Rated for weights up to 300lbs, the C-300 is used by clients to handle CRL GLD and GLD-R models, as well as all Trumotion models. Other saddle types available on request.
Compatible with Strongway, Vestil material handling carts.
